Vancouver Island End of Life Care

Vancouver Island End of Life Care We must take the time to define our own path. Too quickly we can find the world defining it for us.

My mission is to serve the people and their families by offering my services of attending to their emotional and spiritual needs, providing resources, being an advocate for their choices, and providing compassionate guidance throughout the stages of their end of life planning and care. I will prioritize the needs of my clients and make sure they receive the care they need.

Repost from .nicallyfabulous
“I’ve been feeling a lot of grief these past couple of months and have been having difficulty in dealing and coping with it well. From receiving new diagnoses, struggling with my education and mobility. It started to get quite overwhelming. Recently, I’ve taken a step back to focus more on my well-being. That led to me taking a break from college, losing friendships and feeling a huge loss of who I was. However, it also meant learning more about myself and having a better insight, learning how to better pace my life in general and not just in my health.”

[image ID: a screenshot of a tweet from Joanna No Banana that reads “Grief is such a strong part of disability/chronic illness. With each new symptom or increased severity, we lost a little part of who we used to be. Lose our hobbies. Lose parts of our appearance. Lose our dreams and our goals. Lose a little part of ourselves.”]
