“I’ve been feeling a lot of grief these past couple of months and have been having difficulty in dealing and coping with it well. From receiving new diagnoses, struggling with my education and mobility. It started to get quite overwhelming. Recently, I’ve taken a step back to focus more on my well-being. That led to me taking a break from college, losing friendships and feeling a huge loss of who I was. However, it also meant learning more about myself and having a better insight, learning how to better pace my life in general and not just in my health.”

With each new symptom or increased severity, we lost a little part of who we used to be. Lose our hobbies. Lose parts of our appearance. Lose our dreams and our goals. Lose a little part of ourselves.”]
