When you imagine an experience you want to have – a new job, a thriving relationship, physical healing, or even a surprise vacation – how do you feel?

It’s easy to notice the lack or absence of that thing. After all, wanting something means you don’t currently have it.

But when you can feel the emotion in the present moment, before it actually happens, you begin to draw that potential to you.

Even if you’re not sure exactly how it would feel to start a new job, enter a new relationship, or feel well – you can start with gratitude.

Gratitude is a powerful emotion to feel because it usually comes after we receive something. But when you teach your body what your future feels like before it even happens, you prepare yourself to experience that reality.
