Eleonore ‘Loni’ Winofsky
August 4, 1932 - April 26, 2026

Loni was born in Poland in 1932. She
immigrated to Canada from Germany in
1954. Loni made her home in Quesnel and became a valued member of the Quesnel community.

She was the longtime owner of Loni’s Yarn Barn, which she operated for nearly 20 years, and was an Honourable Lady of the Royal Purple.

Loni was a devoted supporter of her family and could often be found at the hockey rink cheering on her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is lovingly remembered by her three children, eight grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Services to be held May 9th, 2026
Graveside Service: 1:00pm at Quesnel & District Cemetery
Celebration of life: 3:00pm New Life Church, 2244 Ash Ave
Quesnel BC
