I’m opening up a couple of soapmaking workshops in April.

These are small, hands-on classes where you’ll make your own soap from scratch and leave with about 10 bars of your own handmade soap.

If you want to create a perfect soap for yourself, come to one of our workshop. You create a soap that has that has the colours and scent you want. And if you are allergic to any of the oils in our standard recipe - we can formulate one that works just for you!!

I had a lot of fun with the three ladies that created these masterpieces at our workshop yesterday. Same recipe but each one is unique.

Next workshop is scheduled for March 28 at 2 PM. Maximum of 4 people.

Another couple of great soap workshops in the studio recently!

These two groups joined me for private classes where they spent the afternoon learning the art of traditional cold-process soapmaking, choosing their scents and colours, and creating their own custom batches of soap. There was lots of laughter, a bit of creativity, and everyone went home with about 10 bars of handmade soap.

Workshops like these are always a highlight — they’re relaxed, hands-on, and a really fun way for friends, families, or coworkers to spend time together and try something new.

A big thank you to Lil Red Pony Feed And Supplies and Jade City for coming out to the studio. It was such a pleasure having you all here!

New classes are coming up for anyone wanting to learn how to make their own cold process soap. Cost is $75 per person and you make a 10 bar batch of soap

Each class is limited to 4 participants to keep it hands-on and personal.

You’ll make your own batch of soap from start to finish. All supplies and equipment are provided.

Ever wondered how handmade soap is actually made?

This is a hands-on, small-group workshop where you’ll make real cold-process soap.

What’s included:

- Make 10 full-size bars of cold-process soap
- All supplies & safety equipment provided
- Step-by-step instruction in a relaxed setting
- Soap is cut after setting overnight and picked up the next day
- Additional curing time required at home before use

Registration & payment:

- 25 deposit required to hold your spot
- Deposit by e-transfer to info@shargloma.ca
- Remaining $50 due at the workshop
- Deposit refunded if cancelled more than 24 hours before the class
- Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable

No experience needed. Closed-toe shoes required.
