Common Foot Injuries from Pickleball.
Plantar Fasciitis: Inflammation of the band of tissue along the bottom of the foot, often causing sharp heel pain, particularly in the morning.
Achilles Tendinitis/Tendon Rupture:
Inflammation or severe tearing of the Achilles tendon due to sudden lunges and high-intensity movement.
Stress Fractures:
Small cracks in the bones of the foot caused by repetitive pounding on hard surfaces.
Ankle Sprains and Fractures:
Acute injuries resulting from, for example, falling on the court or awkward pivoting.
Metatarsalgia:
Pain and inflammation in the ball of the foot.
Blisters/Toe Pain:
Often caused by shoes that are too big or improper, leading to friction.
