My wellness journey didn’t start here.

I didn’t leave the hair industry ✂️

No one warned us about this in hair school…

For 20+ years, I’ve worked behind the chair — colour, lightener, toners, aerosols, fragrances, shampoos, treatments — day after day, year after year.

I LOVED my career. Still do.
But what we weren’t taught is how constant exposure to salon chemicals can quietly build up in the body over time.

Many of these compounds are known hormone disruptors — and when the body can’t clear things efficiently, it starts showing up as things we normalize as “just part of the job”:
