Hey I’m Angie, the owner of Acorns and Auras, and I thought I’d share some of my background with you! In 2016 I earned a Degree in Psychology and walked out with a whole new perspective on life! I was suddenly interested in what healing from the past was and becoming more aware of the impact I had on this world and what that actually meant. The entire experience opened my awareness to other beneficial forms of holistic healing as well like mindfulness, talk therapy, meditation, and shadow work. There is great wisdom, growth, and healing available to us from the psychological viewpoints and I know that they can help assist us on our self love journey too! Learning more about myself in ways like psychology, astrology, numerology, life path numbers, or even soul contracts continues to fascinate me and I feel that approaching wellness with that same level of curiosity is highly recommended all the while slightly contagious. By trying to remain open minded and exploring different forms of divination over the years like psychics, mediums, tarot cards, oracle cards and even ouija boards it has allowed me to understand myself and others on a more personal level and has been extremely eye opening! After receiving my first Reiki session I was beautifully blown away by the experience and even more intrigued in the spiritual realm! Adding Reiki into my spiritual backpack has been life changing I am certain this spiritual exploration that I’m on will only continue to grow and evolve and that makes me so friggin excited!! I received my Reiki levels I and II in 2018 and in 2020 I became a certified Reiki master! I am beginning to realize that the best way that I can truly contribute and make a difference in this world is to transform myself into a better version of myself so that i can help begin to transform others. So thats what I’m doing and over the past few years I have found it to be extremely rewarding, beneficial, and pleasurable to share this beautiful Reiki energy with myself and my family and feel honoured to be able to share it with so many others as well!
