Okay by the most common questions I get is -
Is Shamanism a religion?
No. It is a spiritual practice that offers a different perspective for healing. Within my community. We have dentists, devoted Catholics, Officers, Therapists, Scientists, Evangelical Christians. Just to name a few.
Do you try to convert or talk people out of their beliefs?
No. See above ;) . However many of people of many faiths go see, say, Reiki Practitioner. It is a different perspective of healing. As a Shaman we are nothing but a tour guide. You decide where you would like to go or step off. We may just shift the perspective of the situation in a way. So you have a tour of options.
Why did I chose to be a Shaman?
Well to put it as simple as I can. With "traditional and non-traditional" healing for my own journey, for ME I felt I could just about get to the root of the hurt or wound. It however just felt half a step away. With Shamanism even in my self work I found it is easier to shift my perspective to get to the root of the problem. No matter what I find lol. However everyone's reasons are different.
What are the biggest lessons or things that Shamanism has taught you about yourself?
Love, a deeper self love, loving people for wherethey are at, at any given moment. Being able to see other people's perspectives clearly. Trust in myself and the courage to look at things about myself that society has deemed as "ugly" parts of how we behave as just being plain human, and finding the beauty of the healing there. Vulnerability, that has to be my favourite one. These are in no particular order and not all of them. However I want to be clear these are MY experiences. I cannot speak for others on any path. Everyone is beautifully different and so are the journeys. Whether you are a Shaman or not.
Do you practice sacrifices?
No! Many people may laugh at this, however there are no stupid or silly questions.πThere is a stigma and misconception about Shamanism. Just like many other things in the world.
What time of Shaman are you?
I am primarily an Andean and Pervian trained Shaman. Also an Archetype Practitioner.
Keep the questions comingπππ. Be well everyone.
