You’ll be working with a young crew, so experience managing teens is essential. We need someone who can hustle, stay organized, and keep things running smooth during busy patio days.

What you’ll do:
• Lead shifts + train staff
• Serve guests (and jump in at TacoLoft when needed)
• Keep things clean, fast, and positive
• Make ice cream 🍦

What we’re looking for:
• Leadership + strong communication
• Food service experience
• Reliable, calm under pressure, hardworking

It might only be January, but summer comes fast — and so does ice cream season.

Ross Street Ice Cream Company will be hiring for summer 2026, and we’re starting early.

We’re looking for:
• An Ice Cream Shop Manager (we’d love to find this person sooner rather than later)
• Ice Cream Scoopers for the busy summer months

This could be a great fit if you:
• Are a student
• Are in high school or looking for a first job
• Want a fun summer job in a busy, positive environment
• Or have leadership experience and love working with people

Seasonal Closure Announcement

To our valued customers and community,

As we conclude another season at Ross Street Ice Cream Company, we extend our sincere gratitude for the support and encouragement you have shown us throughout the year. Your patronage has allowed us not only to serve our community but also to contribute in meaningful ways.

This year, with your generosity, we proudly supported two important causes — the ALS Society of Alberta and the Morning Star Women’s Outreach Centre. We are honored to share that, among independent ice cream shops in Red Deer, Ross Street Ice Cream Company stood as the leading contributor to our community.

The shop is now officially closed for the season. During the winter months, we will be carefully evaluating opportunities for rebranding and renovation, with the intention of returning refreshed and improved next spring.

On a lighter note, there is a small measure of relief in knowing that, for the months ahead, we will be spared the lively discussions of former employees or acquaintances in the local food forums.

Thank you for being part of our journey, for supporting our fundraisers, and for continuing to make Ross Street Ice Cream Company a part of the Red Deer story. We look forward to welcoming you back next season.

💙 Two Days Left – Taco Monster x Ross Street Ice Cream Co. ALS Fundraiser 💙

We’ve teamed up with our friends at Taco Monster to create something special: the Monster Monsoon Ice Cream 🍦⚡️. And for just two more days, 100% of proceeds from every scoop go directly to the ALS Society of Alberta.

Why ALS?
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a devastating neurological illness. It slowly takes away the ability to move, speak, swallow, and eventually breathe — all while the mind remains fully aware. There is no cure yet, but your support helps fund vital research and provides care for families right here in Alberta.

Failure to appear may result in irreparable regret, the severity of which may extend well into the winter months.
