Repition is the master teacher.

So repeat after me:

Focus only on what you want,
Your biggest goals
Highest desires
Most fun adventures
The things that light you up.

Think about them,
Dream about them,
Start making moves on them,
Act on them.

Start to nudge the universe your way.

It starts by shifting your focus on things you actually want to do and be, and quit worrying about the things that you don't want.

So direct your energy where you want to.

You decide where your focus goes.

It starts with a mindset switch.

If you don't want things in your life to be the way they are now, start to focus on the opposite - how do you want it to be? And start there. 😁❤️

It's a TCM acupuncture and nervous system chill kind of day 🌞🍃🍂❤️

Traditional Chinese Medical Acupuncture is a neat tool in my naturopathic tool belt to help your body release the blockages, move stagnation, and help your body / cells shift from stuck states.

Some other unique benefits:
✨️ improved blood flow, so we can get better nutrient supply and oxygenation to nerve tissues and muscles
✨️ helps the release of neuropeptides; which are important signaling molecules to the nervous system
✨️ helps enhance brain activity; studies have shown to help modulating neurotransmitter and endocrine function (hello brainfog lift)

It is in the daily repetition that creates a habit, but it is also in the daily repetition of switching that focus to only what you want, that truly makes the change.

Gratitude is one of the most underestimated practices.

✨️ It changes your frequency. ✨️

Switching to being and feeling grateful in what you are doing throughout your day will have a huge impact on your results.

Want to level up your health and achieve your goals and desires more quickly?

Practice gratitude first and foremost:
✨️by being grateful for the day as soon as you wake in the morning, before you even get out of bed
✨️but also in the less than great moments, asking instead - 'what is the good in this?'
✨️also grateful in learning curves and in the growth
✨️and an infinitely grateful list of the small things, big things, and everything in between

Practicing gratitude every day isn't just another 'positive affirmation trick',
it is some literal neuro-lingual-plasiticity-brain-rewiring-life-long-lasting-happiness kind of change.

The studies show it takes 42-66 days to rewire / change one habit.

So imagine, starting with 66 days of daily gratitude, how you would feel on the other end?
..A bit more high vibes, happiness, and good 'coincidences' coming your way, I bet ✨️

Quick GF Almond Flour Banana muffins

A nice quick side to breakfast, or snack for kiddos and adults (:

optional walnuts, blueberries, or dark chocolate chips for extra fun for your taste buds

This is:
*gluten free
*dairy free
*high protein
*and tastes delicious

Recipe:
*avocado oil (or butter if not DF) your muffin tins
*set oven to 350

Dry bowl:
2 cups almond flour
1 - 2 cups vanilla protein powder (optional)
2 tsp baking soda
Lots of cinnamon
Pinch of salt
+
Wet bowl:
3 eggs
4 mashed bananas
1 tsp ish vanilla
1/4 cup maple syrup
+
Chopped walnuts or pecans
Or
Dark chocolate chips
Or
Fresh/frozen blueberries
(To fold in)

Mix dry and wet separately.
Then combo in the bigger bowl.
Fold in the other ingredients if you want.
Put into muffin tins.
Bake for 25 mins (+/- depending on your oven)

Nothing fancy!

Reminder: you are not your feelings.

Although your feelings feel true to you, it doesn't make them real.

So don't put so much stake in your current emotional state.

My mentor always says, "The emotion of the day will lead you astray."

If you wake up on the wrong side of the bed,
You get to choose to feel and stay that way, OR you can switch your mindset and choose immediately instead that today is going to be a great fking day.

For me today, I don't feel like working out. But my goals/dreams/desires require me to have that self-discipline, and when I do work out, it brings me closer to my goals, and I'm happier, in both mind and body.

If I listen to my feelings, you bet I'm watching some Netflix or doom scrolling.

If I go beyond my feelings and ask my higher self what it needs today (and listen), I go for the walk, hit the gym, do the thing. It feels nourishing.

So, instead of going by what you're feeling today, maybe start asking yourself:

"What are my dreams, goals, and desires? and what is one thing I can do today to help me get there?"

Wild Roses Festival 2025,
You were a blast. (Their professional media team took some unreal pictures. Here are my only pics from the event 🤣)

We healed, we cried, we laughed, we danced in the rain, and we gathered in sisterhood.

My mom said she had the best time, too 🥰

Cannot wait to do it all again next year!

I've had this conversation in my office a few times this week. So let's talk about your brain and your poop. (Sorry, not sorry)

Your gut and your brain are very interconnected. The gut-brain axis.

Did you know the gut and the brain are constantly communicating? The gut-brain axis is a cool connection that influences both your digestive health and mental well-being. Here are some cool facts:

🧠 the gut has its own "brain" called the enteric nervous system, which can function independently from your central nervous system.
🧠 the microbiome in your gut can affect your mood, stress levels, and even commonly anxiety and depression.
🧠 stress and emotions can directly impact your digestive system, potentially leading to symptoms like bloating or discomfort
🧠 the gut-brain connection is bi-directional, meaning your gut health can influence your mental state, and vice versa!
🧠 so yes, we really are what we eat! (but also what we think!)

A healthy gut contributes to a happier mind. So let's make sure you are doing the basics:
- pooping daily
- staying hydrated
- eating foods that fuel you
- practicing gratitude daily

If you're not pooping daily, and are feeling a little overwhelmed, brainfog, stressy-depressy - they are likely connected.

Forest bathing is a medical prescription in some countries. Submersing yourself in nature, away from all tech/wifi connection, for even a short while, is healing medicine. It vibrates your cells differently.

Our brains are primarily made up of fat and water, so if you don't fuel it with either of those well, it may be the reason our brain may be working at sub-capacity.

🧠 Brainfog?
🧠 Dehydrated/thirsty?
🧠 Craving salt?
🧠 Sugar cravings when exerting your brain?
🧠 Midday slump?
🧠 Brain just shutting off by the end of the day?
🧠 Memory, forgetfulness, words at the tip of the tongue?

Yes, important things like stress, adrenals, thyroid, yeast, but also.. what about the basic deficiencies? Not just vitamins and minerals but literally back to the basics.

Do you drink enough water?
Do you eat enough healthy fats?

Our brain is literally made up of fat and water, so if we are not having enough Omega 3s and are super dehydrated, how do you think our brain is working for us?

Probably not that well, lol

A couple of simple health swaps:
🧠Drink your water, 2L +,
🧠Add salt/electrolytes
🧠Increase your healthy fats with every meal
🧠try having more of:
- avocado
-coconut
-coconut oil
-olives
-olive oil (best organic and raw)
-fish (sardine,salmon,makarel)
-ghee
-grass fed butter
-good quality animal meats
-eggs
-raw pumpkin seeds, raw walnuts etc. (Always raw, best organic)

PS: you hate fish, we can supplement accordingly 😉 (they are called supplements for a reason)

And honestly, I don't think I have to say this anymore, but in case this fad is still floating around out there, remember, that:

Eating fat doesn't make you fat. Period.
