The power of frequency.

Have you ever heard a song, a saying or a sound that sends shivers down your spine?

This isn't just a coincidence, this is a sign, an intuitive nudge that whatever you're hearing is resonating with your soul and your cells!

Whether is binaural beats, songs from Aroura (one of my favorite artists), traditional throat singing, sound therapy, poems from Edgar Allen Poe or quotes from Mike Tyson, what is for you will resonate with you.

What resonates with you, might not resonate with others and that's OK too.

Whatever makes you tingle and shiver, trust it, feel it and let it pass through you.

Crystal vs Metal singing bowls

In sound therapy, there is a variety of tools used for various purposes and reasons. Bowls, chimes, tuning forks, drums, rattles and so forth.

In shamanism each object has a purpose and deals with different energies and elements.

In the Buddhist belief system, each energy is associated with different energy centers in the body, called chakras.

This life force energy is knows as Chi or Qi in Tradidtional Chinese medicine.

Qi, moving through the body, organs, fascia, blood; when the energy become stagnant that is when illness happens.

Singing bowls and other sound therapy tools help activate the flow of this energy, revitalizing the body and creating flow.

Metal, was one the first objects used for sound therapy (think gongs, in Japan, China and Tibet) used in temples to help promote a balanced sense of wellbeing and wholeness, a solid tone usually felt in a specific area.

Crystal, is now widely used in the new age spiritual community. With it's clean and clear pitch, the resonance is unmatched, the tone is so crisp that you can feel the vibrations through every cell in your body.

Preference varies from person to person, some enjoy the crisp tone of crystal, while others prefer the traditional sound of Tibetan bowls.
