Piper Pharmacy is moving! We are shutting our doors April 26 and moving in with our sister store Sproule's Mountview IDA. The new location is 3757 43 Ave and phone is 403-347-2345.

We are now doing walk-in immunizations for both influenza and Covid-19. 9 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM. We have both Moderna and Pfizer brands of the latter.

We have C19 rapid tests again!

We are getting lots of calls about vaccinations!
Here's what we know:

Flu shots start the third Monday in October. This year that is Oct 16. We will start booking appointments for that week on Oct 9 (the day after Thanksgiving).

The newest Covid-19 vaccination got approved a few days ago but there is no word yet from government when it will be distributed. It is recommended that people wait for the newest vaccine.

The RSV vaccination (Arexvy) is available from our warehouse but there is no word yet about a government program that will cover it. It is indicated for the prevention of lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD) caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in adults 60 years of age and older. It will be fairly expensive without coverage (just under $300).

We have received our Moderna Spikevax Bivalent vaccine. Better coverage for the Omicron variant.
If you are 18+ and it has been at least five months since your last booster, you are eligible to receive it.
It does not matter if your past doses have been Pfizer.
