Monday was a special day for me and this beautiful client.

We adventured for the afternoon and had lots of laughs, met multiple kind souls, and I was able to show her a couple new places.

She got her nails done, got a hair cut, and after many weeks I convinced her to get a little colour on top for zest. She said she had to look good for her many boyfriends. I said “well that’s where they’ve all been hiding then”. 😉

She also received a lolly pop for sitting so nice in the chair and ate it for about 45 minutes telling me she felt as though she’d be sucking on it for life as it just didn’t end!

I introduced her to EDO stirfry and she got adventurous with the hot sauce, and loved it.

She enjoyed a London fog, Oreo snuggles, then was dropped back home.

I feel lucky having days like this, with humans like her.

Hi friends:)

I have opened my schedule to taking on more senior citizens who are in need of 1:1 companionship.

For outings,coffee or teas, games, exercise, accompanying to social outings etc.

If you are needing assistance with your family member, or know of a senior who would benefit, please let me know.

One of my sweet clients made me emotional tonight,

She looked at me and told me how much she treasures my time,her families time, and the other other care companions and that she doesn’t know how she would cope in her care facility without having our time to look forward to.

Some seniors don’t even get any visitors. Some have family who visit occasionally.

Aside from meals, and activities only if the elderly people chose to go, they spend a lot of time alone in their rooms.

Sitting, watching tv, feeling sore, feeling uninspired or hard on themselves for their memory issues, or physical limitations, feeling depressed etc.

This is not a way to live.

They deserve fun, laughter, life, feeling their inner child, and creative side opening up, getting fresh air and movement, having quality conversations where they feel heard, loved, and seen.

They deserve connection, and things to look forward to.

Slow down, take the time to call your loved ones, stop in even if just for a few minutes, it truly means the world to them, and our time is limited, and so valuable.

P.s. Little does she know the impact she too has on me every time we spend time together.

Today she modeled my watch, and to be fair, she suits it better. She’s fly.

She told me yesterday that “wisdom is brought to us by going through the flames”.

This hit me. 🔥

I love wisdom nuggets brought to me by those who have lived longer than me. I am always receptive to listening. This quote shall stick with me.

Surrounded by a room full of singing, dancing, and smiling grandmas and grandpas.

I am here to give quality time, and capacity to your loved one. Actively listening to them.

Taking them on drives

Playing games.

coffees,or social coffees with other elderly community.

Doing their hair with hot tools, or pin curls ( recently learned this, and practising).

Taking them on outings.

Bringing my puppy as a therapy doggo if they are comfortable with dogs, and craving doggo snuggles.

Painting their nails.

Taking them on social outings to do creative, and fun things.

Helping them be active and getting them out of their rooms to move, and be dynamic.

Helping them laugh, and reigniting them with their inner kid.

I want to bring love, joy, peace,happiness and fun to their lives.

We genuinely are enjoying our time.
Today, we visited, listened to music, and shared laughter as I did her nails.

Purple, her favourite colour. And she enjoyed Oreos snuggles the whole time.

Then we went for a walk in the lodge.

My heart was touched yesterday.

My client who passed away recently,his family gifted this to me yesterday, i guess it had been in the works for me.

So special.

My clients nickname for me was Broccoli and I love that it stuck. Made me smile every time he called me that.

You can never have too many grandmas and grandpas in your life. He was more than a client to me, he was family.

I am excited to be offering mobile massage and or/ care companionship for seniors. At their homes,facilities,or families places of residence.

I am a passionate,loving,life-filled,caring soul whose dream is to help others feel alive,loved,joyful, and to wake up their inner child again. Just because one is old physically doesn’t mean their spirit has to be old too.

I love 1:1 time with elderly people. Visiting,growing friendships,coffee dates,games,helping them exercise,listening to them,and bringing happiness into their lives.

Quality time and relationship building is important to me.

Seniors deserve to live out their days as happy as possible, and I want to help make that happen,and sprinkle some zest throughout their days!

I book 30 min massage sessions at a time,and normally spend 2hour increments with each client.
