Atria Victoria Park "Stuffie Adventure" has unfortunately come to an end.Through the week leading up to Grandparent's Day we had 3 adorable stuffed animals Sammy,Buttercup & Marshmallow kindly donated by some amazing grandchildren to some great grandparents to spend the week with us at Atria Victoria Park.They had some amazing adventures to discover what life at Atria Victoria Park was like. They were amazed at the activities and programs,and overall, how great retirement living can be.They helped Susan-Lynn our Engage Life Coordinator with activities and enjoyed cuddles with residents.They all said every day was an adventure and the Grandest Day Ever and great putting smiles on residents was the highlight.
Was a great program.Hope you enjoyed coming on our Atria Victoria Park Stuffie Adventures with us.Look at all that they experience during their week.

Happy Grandparents Day afternoon at Atria Victoria Park.Was a great afternoon spending time together with grandchildren and family and our amazing resident grandparents.Lots of fun and laughter while playing various games, smiles at our fun photo 📸 booth and enjoying yummy ice cream sundae 🍨 at our sundae bar.

After being on a week-long "Stuffie Adventure" at Atria Victoria Park with our amazing grandparents, the stuffies Sammy,Buttercup, and Marshmallow went home with Grandma Faye and Grandma Claudette and 8 other adorable teddy bears were adopted through a draw to some amazing residents.We had a day full of fun and love as we celebrated our amazing grandparents here at Atria Victoria Park.

Tailgate Bingo! Touchdown! To celebrate the kick-off of football season, we had a great time playing Tailgate Bingo and enjoyed snacks and lots of fanfare and bingo touchdowns and prize bags.We even had our stuffies enjoying with the residents as well.Sammy made a great referee and Buttercup and Marshmallow enjoyed cheering on the winners.
Has a great afternoon of touchdowns and fanfare for the great game of football.

Wow, it looks like our adorable stuffies,Marshmallow Sammy, and Buttercup are really enjoying their 'Stuffie Adventures 'at Atria Victoria Park.They have had a busy couple of days meeting some of our amazing residents and putting some extra joy in their day ,participating in morning activities,enjoying popcorn 🍿 and car races,having morning coffee and snacks with grandma and residents .They even made sure our Engaged Life Coordinator Susan-Lynn had her lunch break.Has been too much fun until tomorrow.Hope you're enjoying the Stuffie Adventures from Victoria Park

Leading up to Grandparent's Day on Sunday, September 7th, this week, we have some adorable stuffed animals that are enjoying the sites and enjoying some activities at Atria Victoria Park with their amazing grandparents thanks to their grand- children through our 'Stuffie Adventures at Atria' .It was their first day getting to know Victoria Park.They had a busy day as they got to participate in the Cardio drumming program this afternoon and bingo this evening.
Stay tuned for some more of their adventures this week.Think they are looking forward to possibly meeting other people throughout their week and enjoying an ice cream sundae 🍨 on Sunday.

Grandparents Day !Join us on Sunday, September 7th, to celebrate your Grandparents who live at Atria Victoria Park from 2:00 to 4:00 pm,and to show how much you love and appreciate them.
We will have at 2:00 pm,Fun games and a photo booth, 3:30pm Ice Cream Sundae 🍨 Bar.
We Invite grandchildren to drop off a stuffie between Sunday, 8/31 to Monday 9/2 to spend the day with Grammy, Oma, Bubbe, Zayde, Pop-Pop or Gramps leading up to Grandparent's Day. Please drop off stuffie with your name and grandparents' name at the front office.We will be taking photos of these stuffies enjoying community events to commemorate their visit during the week .

For the older grandkids, we invite you to bring a stuffy to donate.

Friendship, like flowers, starts as a sprout. And, with time and care, it blossoms into something beautiful!

Shirley, one of our wonderful Resident Ambassadors at Atria Park of Vintage Hills and an avid gardener, inspired fellow resident Phyllis to start her own garden this spring by sharing seeds – and now Phyllis’s garden bed is in full bloom!

Meet Terry, a proud U.S. Army veteran and resident of Atria at Hometown. 🇺🇸

After 20 years of military service – including a combat tour in Vietnam and a career in Army JAG – Terry went on to work in federal investigations, covering high-profile cases for agencies like the SEC and Department of Justice. Through it all, one thing stayed constant: his deep commitment to service and integrity.

“I’ve had a great life,” he says. “Every turn seemed to come with a blessing. And I love it here at Hometown,” he adds. “It’s peaceful. We don’t have any stress, any problems, anything. When we got here, I felt like I was in heaven."

Meet Jay, a resident at Atria Grapevine whose love for quilting is matched only by her love for her husband, Jimmy.

Jay and Jimmy moved in nearly three years ago, after his dementia diagnosis, and they’ve found more than just care – they’ve found community. “We know everybody – all the workers, everybody – and it’s so friendly. That’s a real support system for me and Jimmy.”

When she’s not spending time with Jimmy or her neighbors, Jay stays busy stitching quilts, table runners and binding projects for friends (and even her sister). “It’s very calming to me. I enjoy it. There’s a real sense of accomplishment.”

She even transformed her pantry into a cozy sewing nook – a space dedicated to her personal passion.
