On April 8, Alberta will experience a PARTIAL solar eclipse (between 11:48AM and 1:38PM). In our area, 26% of the sun will be obscured by the moon. Viewing the eclipse without proper eye protection, even briefly, can cause permanent damage, so eye safety is very important.

We have a limited number of solar eclipse glasses available for purchase at our clinic.

If you want to experience the TOTAL solar eclipse happening in other parts of Canada/North America, consider watching an online stream!
