You’ve had massage therapy. But what about manual osteopath therapy? Both support pain relief and mobility — but they take different paths to get there.
Massage therapy targets muscles, fascia and soft tissues. It’s hands-on, effective and often focused on local tension or injury. Great for recovery, circulation and reducing stress.
Manual osteopath therapy looks at your body as a whole — joints, spine, fascia and the internal connections between systems. It’s more subtle, often using gentle techniques like joint mobilization, visceral manipulation or cranial work. The goal is to restore full-body balance and alignment, not just treat the area that hurts.
Think of it this way: massage can ease a tight quad. Osteo asks why that quad is tight in the first place — and then treats the deeper pattern.
