Humble Hummus is a small operation based out of Red Deer Alberta Canada. Hence the slogan Fresh & Local Hence the slogan Local and Fresh!

Humble Hummus is a small operation based and primarily sold out of Red Deer, Alberta. We make fresh, delicious hummus that is available year-round in a variety of flavours. The history of hummus is extensive and so are the health benefits! Chickpeas is the base of almost all of our recipes and they're are a great source of plant-based protein and fibre as well as iron, phosphorus, folate and many more key nutrients. With a Glycemic Index of 28, chickpeas are a great low GI food. We also use Tahini in many of our recipes which is full of healthy fats, minerals and vitamins. Hummus is one of the world's oldest foods. it's a healthy treat that can be used as a dip, spread for a wrap, pita or sandwich, as an ingredient or as a side with your meals. Hummus is great for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Dessert, so there's sure to be a flavour to add to your meal. You can taste the difference with Humble Hummus.

We’ve finally reached the final market of the season and what a season it has been!! Thank you everyone that came down to visit, took time to send a message or told me how to make better hummus! I love seeing all your faces at the markets all summer and can’t wait until 2026 😁 Stay tuned for flash sales during the winter 😉😉

Looks to be a chilly market Saturday, but I will be there with all these flavours because there are only 2 markets left!!!! If you don’t want to come out to the market, please message me with what you would like and I’ll do my best to get it to you by the end of the weekend.

We have recovered from the Garlic Festival and decided to embrace fall a little bit seeing as there are only 3 more weekends for the market!!

You may notice a trend in the flavours for this week as it is Garlic Festival weekend!!! If you miss us at the Saturday market, we will be setup at the Common Ground in Capstone on Sunday for the entire Garlic Festival.

Keeping it simple as I prepare for the garlic festival on the 21st of September!! I told a few people that it was the 14th, but it is (in fact) on the 21st on the common ground in Capstone.
