Humble Hummus is a small operation based and primarily sold out of Red Deer, Alberta. We make fresh, delicious hummus that is available year-round in a variety of flavours. The history of hummus is extensive and so are the health benefits! Chickpeas is the base of almost all of our recipes and they're are a great source of plant-based protein and fibre as well as iron, phosphorus, folate and many more key nutrients. With a Glycemic Index of 28, chickpeas are a great low GI food. We also use Tahini in many of our recipes which is full of healthy fats, minerals and vitamins. Hummus is one of the world's oldest foods. it's a healthy treat that can be used as a dip, spread for a wrap, pita or sandwich, as an ingredient or as a side with your meals.
