Seeing is believing 👀 so let me share my personal experience from today, with results five minutes later!

This year I started taking an immunosuppressant medication to help mitigate the extreme dermatitis flares I have been having in response to my lung condition. Internal stress from an uncontrolled inflammation not only affecting my lungs, but also my skin, and leaving me with a high eosinophil count.

I have had great success with starting my medication, but sometimes I get breakthrough symptoms… I have been reaching for the Ashwagandha Ultra-Rich Restorative Cream to help keep my tissues issue free thanks to how hydrating and anti-inflammatory it is! It’s all about trusting the process with permanent makeup, like powder brows - but why?

Your technician will need to deposit more pigment in your initial session to account for 30-50% pigment loss during healing, meaning your brows will lighten and fade as they heal. Your followup 8 weeks later finalizes colour and fixes and areas that lost pigment.

Your initial outline will look incredible, but then due to swelling your brows at the end will also look bolder and slightly larger than at the start. I mean, I’d be angry too with repetitive needle poking! Swelling goes down during the healing process, and brows will “shrink down”. This is why it’s so imperative to ensure that your outline is exactly where it needs to be before shading begins. It’s like the lines in a colouring book!

Consultations are required prior to booking PMU to go over health candidacy and any questions or concerns. The rule for the first appointment also stands as “less is more”. You can always go darker or bolder after, but you can’t take pigment out once it’s in!

✨ The perfect first step ✨ Brow appointments for preteens & teens are soft, subtle, and age-appropriate—just enough to clean up and boost confidence. 💕

My daughter got her second brow appointment, and this time we did a baby tiny with a gentle shape correction. Now all she has to do is brush and go, and they’ll still look perfect - and I’m happy she late for the school bus doing her makeup in the morning!
