Your baby changes so much in the first few years of life and regular well-baby visits with your primary care provider can help you keep track of their growth, milestones and overall health. ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ’™

These visits are also a chance to ask questions, talk about feeding, sleep or development and get support from your care team.

From newborn to toddler, your PCN is here to partner with you every step of the way! If you have questions or want to learn more about how we can support your growing family, visit https://reddeerpcn.com/individual-programs/pregnancy-babies/

Measles is one of the most contagious viruses in the world. If you're exposed and unvaccinated, you may need to quarantine for up to 21 days, even if you feel fine.

What many donโ€™t realize:
๐Ÿ”ธ 1 in 10 will get an ear infection that can lead to permanent hearing loss
๐Ÿ”ธ 1 in 20 children with measles develop pneumonia
๐Ÿ”ธ 1 in 1,000 can develop brain swelling (encephalitis), which may cause long-term disability

Getting your measles immunization is easy, free and effective. Two doses protect over 95% of people for life.

Call the Measles Hotline at 1-844-944-3434 to book your immunization appointment,
check your records or get more information.

If you live outside Calgary or Edmonton, contact your local public health or community

If you have any questions about measles or immunizations, please contact your PCN
health care provider.
