But seriously, I know it’s hard to let go! When you keep your eyes open, your brain is still processing massive amounts of visual data, keeping you in an alert and active state.

To really get the most out of your session, I want to help you settle into a state of relaxation. That’s the sweet spot where deep healing happens and the subconscious mind creates safety for the body to unwind. It’s okay to close your eyes and drift away—I promise I'm still working even if you aren’t watching!

Your mouth might lie to me about how much water you drank, but your fascia tells the truth.

Feeling "crunchy" or stiff? Here is the science in plain English:

Think of your fascia like a kitchen sponge.
🧽 ❌ Dry Sponge: Hard, brittle, and stuck.
✅ Wet Sponge: Flexible, springy, and smooth.

Your fascia needs water to maintain its "slide and glide." When you are dehydrated, those layers lose their lubrication and literally get sticky and matted down (hello, pain!).

I can do the manual work to break up the tension, but you have to provide the water to keep things moving. Help me help you...take a sip!

When your nervous system has been stuck in "fight or flight" (sympathetic dominance) for too long, your body literally creates armour.

Your trapezius muscles shorten, and your fascia creates adhesions to "protect" you, locking that stress into your physical structure.

You can’t just "think" your way out of that tension; you have to physically signal safety to your body to switch back to "rest and digest."
