with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, sometimes we can get lost and forget about ourselves among the rush of it all.
maybe we’re preparing meals for family, focusing on gifting things, deep cleaning the house before company arrives, maybe you’re volunteering or giving back to your community in between everything else…
what are you doing for yourself? are you slowing down? taking time to breathe? relax? did you buy yourself a little treat while you’re out shopping to spoil others?
did you allow yourself space to FEEL knowing the holidays can be a hard time for you?
the holidays can be hard for a multitude of reasons, which is why it’s important to remember yourself, too. take those micro moments for yourself, showing up with kindness, non judgement and compassion for yourself.
i give to myself by finding movement through yoga after work, resting when feeling tired, and cozying up with a book and hot tea/hot chocolate in the evenings.
