Safety is not a one stop shop. To be safe in our lives and to teach other safety requires a vast pool of understanding, not only of safety equipment and techniques, but also of social and societal dynamics and their impacts on individuals and communities.

The first step to having a safe experience is to surround yourself with people who are on the same page as yourself, focused on the same ideas, and working towards common goals. Good teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect are absolutely essential to students of all ages in living safe and happy lives.

Today our office will be closed as our staff attend the Care For Newcomers Community Power of One event in recognition of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. We hope to see you there, and we will get back to work on Friday.

As we transition towards spring and the weather warms up people like to get outdoors and spend their family time enjoying the better weather. Remember that nicer weather for you also means nicer weather for the wildlife in your area (and any areas you may be travelling to).

As furry friends wake up from their winter naps be sure to give them plenty of space to go about their business from a safe distance!

We invite you to join us at Safety City for an educational and unique experience for your students, where they mix safety theory with interactive activities and activities to better their sills for the future.

Safety City's unique CityScape is a fully interactive site of safety education where students work to develop good habits as both pedestrian and vehicle operator!

Our traffic safety programs work directly into your curriculum through the good habits developed in physical education and wellness including:
- spatial awareness;
- group play;
- boundaries;
- creative movement;
- fair play; and many more!
