Heute, an seinem 78. Geburtstag, halten wir – seine Familie und das SHI Team – inne, um Dr. Mohinder Singh Jus zu gedenken und ihn zu ehren.

Während seiner 72 Lebensjahre schrieb Dr. Jus unzählige Geschichten. Seine Kindheit in Alt-Delhi war erfüllt vom Lachen seiner vier Geschwister, seiner Eltern – und sogar eines Huhns –, bevor die Familie ins Haus in der Kailash Colony zog. In Kalkutta studierte er beim grossen Dr. B.K. Bose und fand dabei seine Lebensaufgabe in der Homöopathie. Zurück in Neu-Delhi eröffnete er seine eigene Praxis, behandelte Menschen aus allen Gesellschaftsschichten und war zugleich aktiv in der klassischen Musikszene der Stadt. Er trug ein Versprechen in sich, das er Dr. Bose auf dessen Sterbebett gegeben hatte: die Homöopathie so zu bewahren, wie er sie gelernt hatte, und sie in die Welt hinauszutragen. Was zunächst ein Versprechen war, wurde im Laufe der Jahre zu einer Mission – einer Aufgabe, die weit über sein eigenes Leben hinausreichte.

Die Schweiz wurde zur Bühne für die Verwirklichung dieser Mission. In den 1980er-Jahren wirkte er zugleich exotisch wie inspirierend, sprach in überfüllten Sälen in einer einzigartigen Mischung aus Englisch und Deutsch – und wurde doch durch seine Leidenschaft für die Homöopathie von allen verstanden. Daraus entstand ein Werk, das stetig wuchs: die Gründung des SHI Haus der Homöopathie mit der SHI Homöopathischen Praxis, Homöosana und der SHI Schule – der einzigen Homöopathie-Schule in der Schweiz, die das HF-Diplom (Niveau Höhere Fachschule) anbieten durfte. Zudem gründete er die Dr. B.K. Bose Stiftung zu Ehren seines Lehrers, zur Förderung der klassischen Homöopathie.

Sein Engagement reichte weit über die Schweiz hinaus. Er veröffentlichte zahlreiche Bücher – von Reise einer Krankheit bis zur Praktischen Materia Medica – und hielt Vorträge und Seminare auf der ganzen Welt. Er begleitete Studierende in der Schweiz und bis nach Goa, Indien, wo er Praktika leitete und in ländlichen Dörfern bei kostenlosen homöopathischen Camps die lokale Bevölkerung behandelte. Dr. Mohinder Singh Jus hinterliess bleibende Spuren im Leben von Tausenden von Patientinnen und Patienten, deren Gesundheit und Hoffnung er zurückbrachte.

Heute verstehen wir sein Leben nicht nur als eine Sammlung von Geschichten, sondern als die Verwirklichung einer Mission. Eine Mission, die uns auch weiterhin trägt: sein Werk fortzuführen, seine Vision zu ehren und sein Vermächtnis lebendig zu halten.

Did you know that homeopathy was once at the heart of modern medicine?

In the 1800s and early 1900s, there were hundreds of homeopathic hospitals around the world:

London Homeopathic Hospital (founded 1849)

New York Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital

Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital

And others in Paris, Vienna, and India

Trained doctors and nurses used homeopathic remedies alongside hygiene and nutrition practices to save lives during epidemics.

During the cholera outbreaks, homeopathic hospitals reported far better survival rates than conventional ones.
These hospitals cared for the rich and poor alike, offering free treatment in many cities.
Even royal families relied on homeopathy. Queen Victoria and her descendants were lifelong supporters.

At that time, homeopathy was not called “alternative” – it was mainstream.

Have you ever questioned why conventional physicians talk about miracle healing?

It is, because they don't understand what happened!

Now shouldn't a physician understand human health and illness? If they don't understand it, what are they doing? Do they KNOW what they are doing???
Ask a Physician if he healed a person after giving his medication. He will answer: " The ....... I diagnosed after some tests has gone away, this and this number has improved, I don't see any more ....."
This is what they understand under healing. It matters to them what they can touch, see, smell, nothing else.

NOW, if this patient comes back with depression two months later, he will not connect it to the suppressed psoriasis and will treat for depression with some other meds.

Homeopathy is bases an principals of life, so is health and illness.
A Homeopath will be able to tell you exactly what happened and why after giving a Homeopathic remedy. The physical Symptoms reverses because the emotional root of the illness has been addressed, the body heals from inside out and THE PERSON is actually HEALED.
No new disease, no lingering illness and chronical symptoms and most of all NO MEDS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!

Case: Cluster Headache/Suicidal Headache
Male, 50, lean body, talkative
Symptoms:
- Accident 30 years ago, fell off a roof onto his head (no major injury)
- Cluster headache for 30 years, every 16 months for 1.5 to 2 months from once a week up until every night, excruciating pain around left eye, vomiting, hitting his head
- Woke up every night at 2.30am and could not get back to sleep
- Strong craving for alcohol when stressed
- Depressed mood
- Stools of undigested food
Description:
Patient consulted me for sleep problems and stress in 2021. At first he did not address the cluster headaches, he tried everything on the market for it already and nothing worked.
After the homeopathic constitutional consult which includes an assessment of the whole person (mind and body) I had the listed symptoms written down (cut short for this post!) and matched his constitutional remedy. I gave him 2x 5 pellets of a homeopathic nosode remedy and 2x 5 pellets of his constitutional homeopathic remedy in high potency.
The next day I get a call: "What did you give me? I slept through the night for the first time in over 30 years!"
His cluster headache cycle was due in October that year.
He started to feel it in September, but the headaches wouldn't reach a migraine level, just a heavy feeling in his head on some mornings.
Other changes after the first 3 months: "I see colors for the first time in my life!". He started supporting his wife with the household and connected more with his children. He was able to digest food (and gain a healthy weight). No craving for alcohol.

After another 16 months (My mistake was not repeating the first constitutional remedy) he started to feel the headache coming on and had about 2 nights in 2 months with a migraine like headache but during the day and not the night. I supported with an acute homeopathic remedy and we got it under control quickly.

Another 16 months later (I checked if the remedy was still correct and repeated it), he felt heaviness in his head, but no stronger headaches came on.

I am seeing him at least once a year for a follow up to check his constitution and address any new changes if needed. He is living his best life, able to enjoy what he has.

This is how a homeopathic case can look like.
There is hope with Homeopathy where there isn't anything left otherwise.
