I love the concept behind the AI dolls going around lately- they are so cute. I debated getting Chat GPT to make one myself but held back and I’m glad I did. I had a lot of fun making my own and being able to customize each element!

Hello, wonderful clients and friends!

It is with great sadness that I share Pierced by Jayden will be closing at the end of April. I am so sad to let go but one thing I know for certain is that I worked very hard & gave the best piercings I can. And that’s enough for me! It’s time to focus on me now.

Business is HARD and has taught me that I don’t particularly care about business! I care about people and clients, not inventory or numbers. I’m passionate about safety and the quality of the piercings I perform and creating a safe space for my clients. For me, being a business owner complicates that and makes it so much more stressful than it needs to be. I’m not a savvy businessperson. What I am, though, is someone who tried and cares deeply about piercing! Sole proprietorship is risky and life threw me some curve balls (but who didn’t it, right?!) and I’ve found myself falling more and more behind on stock, marketing, and my own health. I know that me and my clients deserve better 💛

I’ve taken on a different full time role and hopefully will find myself as an employee piercer again soon 😊 I’m excited to take time to get myself out of debt (oopsie) and to focus on me.

THANK YOU for your support of my lil’ business over the past 2.5 years. I’m unsure of how to put into words just how much it means to me that so many people were interested in what I had to share and came to see me for piercings/jewelry. And a huge thank you to Roxanne, the studio owner She is the most beautiful, amazing person I could’ve taken this venture with and she has taught me so much about life, friendship, and business. Roxii’s is the most wonderful studio I could’ve found myself at and I am so lucky to have called it home for so long. My business would’ve never sustained me for so long without Roxanne and her amazing studio, for that I am forever grateful 💕

That full cart feeling 😍

I’m super lucky to have access to wonderful disposables from (thanks to ) and a beautiful autoclave (thanks to ). It can be easy to forget that at one point I didn’t have such a lovely, reliable set up! But, each time I grab a sterile marker or coated needle I remind myself of how far I’ve come and I smile a big smile 💞

Old pictures from my apprenticeship but I’ve been getting lots of questions about kids lobe piercings lately so I figured I’d make a post about it!

I do children’s ear lobe piercings starting at 6 years old with parental/guardian consent. I use needles, implant grade jewelry, strict sterilization/health protocols, and a gentle approach to create a safe, positive experience for you and your kiddo- win win!

My room is yellow, bright, and colourful!! All tool processing happens in the back so there’s no loud sounds or germs floating around the piercing room. I’ve got a huge sticker collection on my storage cart and fidget toys galore (I’m a kid at heart). I book an extra 15-20mins for nerves and questions to ensure we do not rush this very special milestone. I’m also please to offer anodizing as a safe, affordable way to get some fun colours for the initial jewelry 💖 I am so excited for every family I get to help chose safe, autonomous piercings for their young ones.

Here’s my availability for the first couple weeks of October. Stay tuned for the next half!

October is one of my favourite months and it’s a wonderful time to get pierced, as it’s not cold cold yet but it’s no longer super sweaty hot. 👻 On the 13th, I’ll be celebrating my birthday and on the 15th, I’ll be celebrating two years at Roxii’s Studio 🥹 Pretty exciting month if you ask me! I’d love to celebrate with you ✨
