“That went by so fast, I can’t believe that was only an hour”
Massage is more than just care for your physical body. It is also time to let yourself mentally rest and recharge. And how long of a treatment you book depends on a lot of individual factors.
A 60 minute massage is what is most commonly booked. 60 minutes is great, I can do a lot in 60 minutes. If you need some general maintenance, or really need some focused work for your back neck and pecs 60 minutes is perfect.
However if you consistently come to the end of a treatment with a feeling of “that was awesome but I wish it was longer” maybe try booking a 75 or 90 minute massage next time and see how it feels.
With longer treatments I slow down my techniques a little bit. Not only does it feel more enjoyable but it allows for a deeper feeling of relaxation too.
