💥5️⃣YEARS💥
•••
August 4, 2025 looks a very different world than August 4, 2020 did!! And for so many reasons.
That was day 1 of my chiropractic career and what an odd and uncertain entry it was into the profession.
Covid presented interesting and educational challenges that we hadn’t anticipated…
…and now, 5 years later, life has dealt highs and lows we never could have imagined.
And through it all, there have been people come and people go, there have been arrivals and departures for reasons, seasons, and lifetimes.
•••
There has been doubt. Good lord has there been doubt.
There has been confusion and frustration and confidence and elation.
•••
And tomorrow as we begin to settle into year 6, I can be nothing but grateful for the people I get to work beside and joke with every day. Grateful for the flexibility and grace that my profession affords me to take care of me and our new normal.
•••
And forever grateful to my incredible patients for trusting me with their care, for confiding in me their fears and troubles, and for having the faith that I will get them where they need to be.
•••
I am also humbled each day with the compassion and understanding my patients have shown in the last several months after our lives took a violent turn. I will never be able to convey the gratitude I feel for such special human beings.
•••
Looks a little different than day 1.
I didn’t know just how much would change.
But it’s been 5 great years and I love it…
…just the same.
