Greg Baca – Location Manager, Lee Funeral Home, Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, and Fletcher Funeral Chapel
Born and raised in St. Thomas, Ontario, Greg Baca has dedicated his career to serving families with professionalism, compassion, and trust. He began his journey in funeral service at Humber College in 1998, graduating in 2000. After completing his licensing examinations, he became a licensed funeral director and embalmer, gaining valuable experience in Toronto before relocating to Ottawa in 2002.
In Ottawa, Greg worked with Kelly Funeral Homes until 2016, when he transitioned to Capital Funeral Home and Cemetery. In 2023, he joined Dignity Memorial as a Location Assistant Manager at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home. Recognized for his leadership and commitment to excellence, he relocated to Regina in May 2024 to become the Location Manager of Victoria Avenue Funeral Home and Lee Funeral Home. In October 2024, he also took on the role of Location Manager at Fletcher Funeral Chapel in Weyburn.
A lifelong learner, Greg has expanded his expertise beyond funeral service. In addition to his Funeral Service Education diploma, he earned a certification in Business Communication at Algonquin College, as well as Business Management studies, including Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Project Management. Since joining Dignity Memorial, he has continued his professional development through Dignity University.
Greg and his wife, Jennifer, married in 2013 and relocated to Regina with their nine-year-old daughter. They have embraced life in the Prairies, actively engaging in the community. Greg is a member of the Regina Executive Association, attends Harvest City Church, and participates in local events.
An avid sports fan, Greg has fully immersed himself in Saskatchewan’s sports culture. He and his daughter can often be found cheering on the Saskatchewan Roughriders, as well as attending Regina Pats hockey games and Regina Red Sox baseball games.
With many years of experience, Greg is committed not only to serving families with care and compassion but also to mentoring the next generation of funeral directors and colleagues. He is passionate about teaching and delivering the very best service possible, ensuring that every family is treated with respect, dignity, and understanding. Greg is dedicated to honouring and accommodating all cultures, faiths, and economic backgrounds, always striving to serve in the most meaningful way possible—one that fits each family’s desires and budget while truly honouring the lives that have been lived. He understands that families are faced with making some of the most difficult decisions of their lives, and he is committed to guiding and supporting them through a time when even making just one decision can feel overwhelming.
