As we mark the 2025 Childhood Cancer Awareness Month this September, we are committed to raising awareness about childhood cancer.

According to the Public Health Agency of Canada, childhood cancer is the second leading cause of death by disease among Canadian children. Little is known about what causes childhood cancer, which limits the opportunities for prevention. However, research and awareness bring us closer to understanding, earlier detection, better treatments, and more hope for families.

By participating in Healthy Future Sask, you are helping researchers uncover how lifestyle, environment, and genetics shape long-term health, knowledge that can one day protect children everywhere.
