🤠✨ August Recap: Jamboree Fever at Harbour Landing Village! ✨🤠

This August, the Village came alive with Western spirit! We kicked things off with Western Games, where sack races, tug of war, and stick horse racing brought out plenty of laughs and friendly competition. Our childcare kids stole the show on Lemonade Day 🍋, learning responsibility while serving up cups of sunshine to residents and staff. And nothing said summer quite like their foam party, with music, bubbles, and pure joy filling the yard.

For the first time ever, we hosted Stampede Day — a Village-wide adventure with Nerf gun target practice at the Sheriff Station, karaoke at the H***y Tonk Saloon, cowboy hat crafts, gold panning, and even a Boom Town Gambling Hall. The energy was incredible!

All of it led to the grand finale: Jamboree Day. From a pancake breakfast and pulled pork lunch to wagon rides, live entertainment, and a burger dinner at Roots Kitchen & Bar, the whole community came together for a true prairie celebration. 🎶🐎🌾

🌸 Crafties for Grannies! 🌸

Our little ones filled the Village with love as they created handmade cards and sang songs to honour the grandparents in the Village. 💌🎶

🍋 Late post from our Lemonade Day! 🍋

Our Little Village childcare kids set up their very own lemonade stand, selling cups of lemonade with special tokens. Staff and residents lined up to buy their drinks, turning a simple activity into something much bigger.

This wasn’t just about lemonade — it was about learning, connection, and community. The kids got a taste of responsibility and teamwork, while our residents and staff had the joy of supporting them and sharing in the fun. 💛

At Harbour Landing Village, moments like these remind us how meaningful it is when generations come together.
