Mismatched socks, big smiles, and even bigger hearts ๐๐งฆ
Today at Harbour Landing Village, our residents, staff, and childcare came together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day in the most meaningful wayโby showing up, learning, and celebrating what makes each person unique. From colourful socks to a special book reading in our preschool, it was a day full of connection across every generation in our building.
Weโre lucky to be part of a community where diversity isnโt just talked aboutโitโs lived every day. From little ones in our preschool to our residents, many of us have personal connections to Down syndrome through our families, friendships, and the people we share life with here.
And to one very special little girl in our preschoolโour daily reminder of joy, kindness, and the warmest hugsโwe are so grateful for the light you bring into our building ๐
Days like today remind us that inclusion, understanding, and kindness go a long wayโand that everyone belongs here.
