WOW! What a great afternoon!!
We started with a spring fashion show with Melanie Lyne, followed by excellent entertainment by Jesse Lamont. Jesse even got a standing ovation. Thank you to all the residents and residents daughters that walked in the fashion show, and thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the afternoon with us!

Nothing like a friendly game of Pétanque A-Tout to wrap up the day. The sun starting to dip, a few laughs echoing across the court, and just enough competition to keep things interesting.

It’s not really about who wins or loses, but about the conversations in between throws, the shared stories, and those easy moments that bring people together.

You see friendships grow a little stronger, new connections being made, and everyone just enjoying being present. This is what community is all about.

For Stress Awareness Day, our residents took time to slow things down and focus on relaxation and self-care.

They created their own lavender calming bags, carefully filling them with fragrant lavender leaves and rice. These simple, homemade sachets are perfect for easing stress. Whether placed under a pillow, held during quiet moments, or used as a gentle reminder to pause and breathe.

It was a calming, hands-on activity that brought a sense of peace, connection, and creativity to the day. At College Park I, we’re always finding meaningful ways to support wellness of the mind, body, and spirit.

College Park I was in for a treat today as we welcomed Neil Diamond tribute performer Jamie Gass into our building!!!

Residents sang along, clapped, and soaked in the energy as the room filled with classic hits and great memories. Music has a special way of bringing people together, and today was a perfect reminder of that. Smiles all around and a lot of toe-tapping moments!!!
