Hill Ave Drugs first opened it’s doors in 1953. Since that time there have been many changes. It has seen the growth of the city, yet remained an important part of the Lakeview Community. Hill Ave Drugs was opened by Harold Ast and remained under his ownership until his son, Dean Ast purchased the store from his father. ugs from Dean. All three gentleman understood the value and importance of independant business and what it meant to the community. In 1997 Hill Ave Drugs under went a renovation which lends to the experience of pharmacy of yesteryear. Rich wood fixtures, carefully selected colours and attention to detail make Hill Ave Drugs a memorable experience. In 2000 Hill Ave Drugs again decided to change for the better. Hill Ave Drugs became Regina’s first Pharmacy that specializes in compounding custom prescription medications. As a member of PCCA, Hill Ave Drugs can prepare prescriptions exclusively for their patient’s needs when products are not available from pharmaceutical manufacturers. Bad news! Credit and debit machine is still down - cash only transactions for the time being. We are working behind the scenes to get a new credit/debit machine.

Our credit/debit machine stopped working early Friday afternoon, and a replacement cannot be brought in until Monday. A technician is coming in Saturday to try and fix it, but currently, we can only accept cash for payment.

If the machine can be fixed, I will update here ASAP.
