How many of you have goals? I’m talking real, planned and thought out, written down on paper type of goals, for any length of time, in any area of your life?
I’m guessing the number of people who have these types of goals is not as big as it should be.
GOALS are so incredibly important, they give people a purpose, a sense of direction, and the motivation to reach their destination. There are so many people who feel as though they are drifting through life, working hard but for what?! Towards what?!
By setting life goals, small or large, we can hold ourselves accountable, give ourselves something to look forward to, a reason to work hard and try so hard. If you’re lucky enough to reach these goals, the overall sense of accomplishment will be one of your most rewarding experiences.
I made a small goal today, one that I’ve been putting off for a few months. I committed to a 100 day workout program with 💪🏼. I know 100 days isn’t very long, and to some people, working out everyday is easy. In my life I have sacrificed my ‘personal well-being time’ to focus on my kids or school or husband. By making this commitment to 100 consecutive days I’m not only going to benefit from the physical aspects, but mentally as well. I’ll also be learning a new way to balance my life by forcing myself to make time for this goal.
It’s a goal I’m really excited about and looking forward to seeing/reaching those end results💪🏼
So I’ll ask you again, when’s the last time you sat down and wrote out even a short term goal for yourself?? If you need a little guidance, swipe to check out the layout for SMART goals. Happy planning 😉
