You have been the bedrock of our business, going above and beyond the call of duty, dealing with water-related challenges, emptying buckets, rescheduling appointments, and remaining resilient throughout.

To our loyal customers, we want you to know that we are still fighting for our business. We hold onto hope that we will reopen our doors soon and resume serving you. We will keep you updated regarding our circumstances as soon as we have news to share. We genuinely believe that this challenging period will mark a new beginning rather than an end.

We have included our staff IG accounts and or new locations so they can continue to serve you. We have also ensured the staff have access to their appointments and client contact, so they may also be reaching out to you.

After the April incident we had enough, on May 1 2023, we fulfilled our rent obligation and embarked on the search for a new location for our business . Thankfully, we were able to secure a suitable new home. However, our landlords expressed a different stance. They unexpectedly asserted their rights to our assets and equipment, despite our legal separation of these assets into a separate corporation based on the advice of our legal counsel. They claimed that the assets could not be transferred due to an outstanding debt we owed them. They demanded that we vacate the premises by May 31, leaving behind all our belongings.
In our efforts to resolve the situation amicably, we provided evidence of fair asset transfer and the payment of fair market value. We hoped that these actions would lead to a swift resolution, allowing us to proceed with signing the new lease. Unfortunately, we have been informed that the landlords intend to retain our belongings, leaving us with no choice but to seek legal recourse.
Operating without our essential belongings, staff, and a physical location has rendered it impossible for us to continue our business operations. Despite our best efforts to negotiate feasible payment terms without overpromising, the landlords consistently demanded more than we could reasonably commit to. Fearing immediate eviction if we failed to meet their additional demands, we found ourselves trapped in an untenable position.
We want to emphasize that throughout this arduous journey, we fought tirelessly to protect our business, support our employees, and serve our loyal customers. However, we are now embroiled in protracted court battles, waiting for decisions that will ultimately determine our future.

Given the financial challenges we faced, including the inability to afford a complete renovation while still compensating our dedicated staff and not losing all of our customers, we made the difficult decision to persevere as a team and to operate as best we could. As our space was no longer completely usable, we paid approximately half of the rent to our landlords per month and gradually addressed repairs and repurchased necessary items as our resources allowed.
Eventually, the landlord replaced the roof. During this roof replacement period, we were obliged to offer significant discounts to our valued clients, as a serene spa environment was a core expectation. We understood the impact these adjustments had on our cherished customers and endeavored to mitigate any inconveniences.
Following a meeting with the landlords and legal representation , all parties took time to reflect on the discussions. At the request of the landlords, we agreed to a site visit in early spring of 2023, during which we explored options such as lease extension and devised a realistic plan for repaying a portion of our debt.
We were relieved to receive confirmation that our lease would be extended on a month-to-month basis, affording us the necessary time to address insurance matters and negotiate a significant contract with a major wholesaler. The successful acquisition of this contract would have facilitated the signing of a new lease, incorporating a fair portion of our outstanding debt repayment. Throughout this entire process, we continued our operations as usual, even after our initial lease ended in March 2023. However, we encountered an unexpected turn of events when the landlords attempted to lock us out on April 21, 2023. Fortunately, thanks to the valid month-to-month lease agreement we held, this action was swiftly reversed the following day, and we regained access to the premises.

Dear Valued Customers, (part 1/4)

We are deeply saddened to inform you that our establishment is currently closed, and we want to share our side of the story regarding the circumstances that led to this unfortunate situation. It is with a heavy heart that we recount the events that unfolded over the past months.
During the challenging period of COVID-19 closures, we approached our landlord and requested their assistance in applying for the available grants. However, they made the decision not to pursue these grants and assured us of their cooperation and support.
As the shuttered businesses were allowed to reopen we were finally allowed to resume operations with restrictions. As fate would have it, our rented building suffered a catastrophic roof failure, resulting in a severe flood. We had just completed a full renovation so this was devastating. This unfortunate incident caused extensive damage to our equipment and rendered many rooms unusable. Despite the difficulties imposed by the ongoing pandemic, we diligently worked with our insurance provider, navigating through supply shortages and construction delays, in order to address the damages.
Unfortunately, in September, we experienced another devastating flood that compounded our losses and further impeded our recovery efforts. The road to recovery was marred by delays in insurance repairs and the ongoing impact of COVID-19 restrictions. Our insurance provider insisted on postponing repair or replacement actions until the landlord resolved the roof issue, given that we had made multiple claims. This unfortunate circumstance significantly prolonged the resolution of our insurance claims.
