The SOPRANO XL 810 diode treats unwanted hair with quick and safe in-motion bursts involving no downtime. The pigment (melanin) within hair absorbs the laser and converts it into heat. The hair then transmits this heat into the hair follicle which destroys it without damaging the epidermis. Any hair that is in the dormant phase will still grow and that is why a few treatments will be needed to achieve permanent reduction. Hair must be shaved prior to treatment.
