Andrea Dorosh - Thai Massage Therapy

Andrea Dorosh - Thai Massage Therapy Thai Massage is a dynamic & restorative form of therapeutic massage. Andrea Dorosh is a Registered Therapist with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.

What is Thai Massage? Thai massage is a dynamic, sometimes vigorous, and at the same time deeply relaxing form of therapeutic body and energy work that dates back 2500 years to origins in India. The practice is guided by Buddhist principles of compassion, love and kindness. A thai massage is a moving meditation where each session is unique, and tailored to align and restore balance to both the ph

ysical and energetic nature of the body. Thai massage wrings out the entire body, melts away stress, and releases tension. Thai massage is performed on cushioned mats on the floor in loose, comfortable clothing. It is common for a session to take 90 minutes to 2 hours as the entire body is treated. Each session incorporates a variety of movements and techniques that stretch and massage the body to stimulate circulation, improve energy flow and provide tension relief. It is an effective way to realign and restore mobility. Who can receive a treatment? Anyone can receive a thai massage, the treatment can be customized to suit an individual’s body type and needs. As with any bodywork therapy, if there are existing health conditions or ailments, including pregnancy, a person should consult with their doctor before receiving a treatment. About Andrea

Touch. Every time I receive a massage (shoutout to ), I’m reminded why I do what I do. Touch is essential—it soothes, heals, and nourishes the nervous system. And let’s be honest, it just feels amazing!

Thinking about booking a massage? Consider this your sign. You probably should. 😉

Hi there! I often get asked how I got into thai massage. The short answer? I had one and it was incredible (thanks to .harbottle)! I thought, "Why would anyone ever get any other kind of massage? I need to do this!" So in 2012, I took the leap to learn thai massage and become a registered therapist, and I'm so happy I did!

Here are a few things I love about thai massage:

😊 Connecting with everyone who comes to see me
🌿 Helping others feel better
💪 Engaging my whole body—it's good for you and for me!
🎓 Being inspired to keep learning and growing
🌈 The fun, playful, and creative aspects
🙏 Staying present and grounded—each session is like a meditation

One of the best things about thai massage is using the whole body to give the massage. Gives the hands a much-needed break!
