📣 We are proud to have been an official partner of Service Hospitality’s Youth Safety Education Day (YSED)! 🙌

This September, as young individuals stepped into the workforce—whether it was their first summer job, a part-time position, or the start of a new career—workplace health and safety took centre stage during YSED Week, September 8–12. 🦺✨

We were pleased to be part of this important initiative, which raises awareness and helps young people gain the knowledge they need to stay safe on the job. 💚

What is an ERU?

St. John Ambulance plays a vital role in critical areas of emergency preparedness and response across Canada. Our Emergency Response Units (ERUs) are specially trained to support local, regional, and national emergencies.

ERUs provide on-site emergency care, medical care during evacuation or at shelters, search and rescue operations, community support, and more.

We are so proud of these volunteers, who arrive at every disaster with advanced first aid and life-saving skills, experience, and leadership.
