With heavy hearts, we share that our sweet and loving Franco Giambattista left this world on August 4, 2025
Franco stole our hearts 8 years ago with his warm spirit and zest for life. He had a deep love for singing, dancing, and good polka music—he always lit up the room.

As the former owner and founder of the Italian Star Deli, Franco built his business with passion and hard work, creating a legacy that still shines today.

We were honoured to care for him when his health began to decline. Even then, he made us smile, laugh, and sometimes cry.

Our deepest condolences to Gina, Nick and Carlo and all of his extended family and friends. He will remain in our hearts forever!
Rest in peace, dear Franco. You will be deeply missed by many. ❤️🥹

So easy on the ears!! Patricia—Autumn’s Breath—was absolutely amazing today!!
Tears were flowing as she sang “Jealous of the Angels” by Donna Taggart… what a powerful and emotional moment.
Then the energy flipped—toes were tapping, shoes were flying—as she lit up the room with her jammin’ songs!!
What a voice, what a presence!! Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us! 💖🎤🎶

We took our adventurous residents out for a lovely pontoon boat ride on beautiful Wascana Lake in Regina! 🌊🚤

We soaked in the sunshine, learned a few fun facts—did you know wood ducks live in birdhouses?! 🦆🏠 And we even witnessed a bit of excitement as a group of young canoe paddlers accidentally turned their ride into a swim... don't worry, they were safely rescued! 😅

It was a day filled with fresh air, laughter, and new discoveries. A big “who knew?!” moment for all of us—and a boatload of memories to cherish! ❤️🌞
