Our lovely clinician, Nicole Wright has created a DBT skills group for young adults. This group will be held at Open Skies in the evenings from 6-7:30pm on the posted dates above!
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a type of therapy that helps people manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and build healthier coping skills.
DBT focuses on four key skill areas:
✨ Mindfulness – Learning to stay present and aware in the moment.
🧩 Distress Tolerance – Handling difficult situations without making them worse.
💬 Interpersonal Effectiveness – Communicating needs clearly and maintaining healthy relationships.
🌊 Emotion Regulation – Understanding and managing strong emotions.
DBT teaches practical, real-life tools to help people respond to challenges with greater balance, self-awareness, and resilience.
Many people find DBT helpful for anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and relationship struggles.
