Pearson's correlation coefficient between the Salivary Secretion and Heart Rate Variability Modified By Auriculopuncture

This study showed that auriculopuncture in auricular points SG2 and SP elicited a significant increase in unstimulated salivary flow rate (uSFR) in healthy people, mainly in subjects with normal lesser uSFR. Besides, this effect was correlated with changes in HRV compatible with a rise in sympathetic activity.
