Destiny’s Story
I decided at a young age that I wanted to be a Registered Massage Therapist. Growing up my mom worked in health care and I always knew I wanted to help people as well. I was first introduced to massage therapy when I sustained a back and neck injury during a car accident. I was astounded by the effects that massage therapy had on my body’s overall performance, my mental health, and my pain relief. I knew right then and there that massage therapy was my calling and I have never looked back!
I graduated from the Western College of Remedial Massage Therapies in June 2014. Since then I have expanded my knowledge through clinical experience and treating a variety of conditions. I have a strong desire to continue to learn and improve my techniques to advance patient care. Since beginning my journey as an RMT I have expanded my knowledge in Myofascial Release Vacuum Cupping and Hot Stone Massage.
It is my ultimate goal to assist my clients in achieving their personal wellness goals, maintain optimal health and pain-free body function. I’m able to provide this through assessment, treatment, and education in self-care. I am a strong believer in the effectiveness of massage therapy and am eager to meet new clients to help them relieve pain and improve their overall quality of life.
I look forward to meeting you!
