Young people often experience emotions, especially grief, in waves. One moment they may seem okay, and the next they may feel overwhelmed.

Let’s create space for connection and conversation. Listen, support, and remind them they don’t have to face it alone. 💜 💛

MAY is Mental Health Awareness Month. 💚

This month reminds us that mental wellness matters just as much as physical health. Let’s continue to break stigma, support one another, and encourage open conversations. Whether it’s practicing self-care or reaching out for help, every step toward well-being counts.

You’re not alone. We are beside you.

Yesterday at Wanuskwewin, space was created for Indigenous youth from northern Saskatchewan communities to gather, share, and simply be was an honour at this year’s VICCIY Youth Summit.

Caring Hearts Community Wellness Facilitator hosted two healing circles for 25 youth.

So many of our young people carry heavy stories, yet they continue to show up with courage, laughter, vulnerability, and strength. In circle, we remind one another that healing does not happen alone. It happens in relationship, in culture, in song, in prayer, and in community.

Our ways have always held medicine. The smell of the smudge, the sound of the drum and songs, the sharing of hearts, and the presence of one another are all part of Indigenous healing.

Holding space for youth to reconnect to themselves, their voices, and their spirits is sacred work.
Ahkameyimok — never give up. 🤍

❄️Snow or Shine, Caring Hearts Grief Camp Continues!❄️
