Regina's Speech Centre is a private practice that is dedicated to providing speech and language services to Regina families.

Regina Speech Centre aims to provide quality, family centred speech and language services to children and families in Regina and surrounding areas. We offer assessments, consultations and direct therapy to children birth to school age in our community. We offer services at our centre, in homes, schools and daycares. We offer comprehensive therapy focusing on children as a whole. Combined we have experience in (but not limited to) the following;

Join us for our third annual “Fall Into Reading” conference on October 23rd and 24th, 2025 at the Glen at Crossmount (5 min. from Saskatoon).

This year we are excited to welcome Dr. Andrea Fraser as our keynote speaker, along with break out sessions from Speech Language Pathologists Cynthia Bakker, Nichole Forbes and Orenda Pelzer.

This two day conference will focus on assessing literacy skills, supporting English as a second language learners, building comprehension, and creating inclusive practices for diverse learners, including students who use AAC.

Those who work with us know we often have a clinician travelling to our Northern Communities to work and connect with our families. We love working with them, and always feel welcome. “There are no “pre-requisites” required for an individual to be considered for AAC. All individuals are considered candidates for AAC intervention if their communication abilities do not meet their communication needs. Speech-language pathologists can offer a comprehensive assessment, communication strategies, supports, techniques, equipment, and communication partner training, taking each AAC user’s unique needs and abilities into account. AAC intervention requires ongoing collaborative decision making and training, as well as modifications to support changes in communication needs over time. Communication is essential for allowing us to connect with others, share our thoughts, opinions, needs and wishes, retain our autonomy, and help us respond in potentially unsafe situations. And just like that it’s half way through Better Speech and Hearing Month, and we haven’t taken the time to celebrate this crew. Our centre wouldn’t be what it is today without these gems.
