This past weekend Dr. Gervais was apart of the Spartan Race hosted in Calabogie!

Alongside members of the Renfrew Muay Thai team, she completed the 5km race with 20 obstacles including rock climbing, rope pulling, sandbag carries, monkey bars, and more!

Signing up for a race like this is a great way to set a goal which helps keep you accountable to stay active.

Congrats Dr. Gervais! ✨

Have you heard of the term “golfer’s elbow” or “tennis elbow”? 🏌️‍♂️🎾

Although the name implies that these sports commonly cause elbow pain, the prevalence of these conditions being caused by their namesake is actually quite low!

Careers with repetitive wrist movements such as assembly line work, data entry, and work involving the use of various tools (i.e. auto technicians) can increase risk for experiencing elbow pain.

This week we learned a little more about our bursary recipient for 2025!

Some of you will recognize this fabulous young man. Joseph Cassanto spent time at Golden Age Activity Centre during a co-op placement. Last week he received a Bursary from Renfrew Family Chiropractic, as he makes his way to Nippising University. We are all so proud of you Joseph, and we have no doubt there will be spectacular things in your future. Congratulations from Renfrew & Area Seniors' Home Support, Golden Age Activity Centre, and all of our members.

Last week, Dr. Gervais presented the Renfrew Family Chiropractic bursary to this year’s recipient, Joseph Cassanto, who will be attending Nipissing University in the fall.

RFC sponsors an annual bursary awarded to a student graduating from St. Joseph’s High School who will be attending post-secondary school in a science program.
