As a Registered Massage Therapist, I offer therapeutic, relaxation, prenatal massage and more. I would like to acknowledge that we are on the traditional territory of the Sinixt. I also acknowledge the Secwepemc, the Okanagan-Syilx, and the Ktunaxa who all had traditional ties to this region, and who value and honour the land on which we live. My approach to massage is client centred, tailoring techniques and pressure for each individual. Fascial release, craniosacral therapy, trigger point therapy and traditional Swedish massage are among some of the techniques I gravitate towards. My intent is to offer clients an opportunity to rest and recharge. Starting out as a Pilates and Yoga instructor in the early 2000’s and transitioning to Massage Therapy in 2010, I have been on a learning journey that seems to gain momentum as time goes on. Keeping up with the latest research, my current area of focus has been learning the science based Biopsychosocial approach to pain treatment, which offers promising result for people who experience chronic pain as a result of variety of factors including trauma. Concussions are also a particular area of interest to me and I continue to develop my knowledge in this area so that I can help clients live a more functional and fulfilling life. I enjoy working with a variety of clients including children, elderly, pre/postnatal individuals and more. I also welcome parents who might not be able to leave their children at home and need to bring them in during their treatment. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.
