Oldest and I devoured pretty much first loaf within hours - slathered thick slices with peanut butter

In 2012 we hosted a Cob Oven Workshop - and hand built this ‘pumpkin’ cob oven. Many hands (and feet) were involved.

We moved it once, when we relocated from Yorkton, to Rhein.
A much smaller move happened yesterday, on our 23rd Anniversary, from one side of our yard, to another.

What’s for lunch??

Savoury, cheesy, sourdough discard waffles - I always use this recipe but sub 1 cup of the flour, with 1 cup discard:

Since these are savoury, no sugar or vanilla. Added:
-fresh parsley, chives, spinach
-chunk of diced mozzarella
-good sprinkle of Parmesan
-cracked pepper, dried oregano, dried paprika

Had this with thinly sliced re-heated steak 🙂 it was yum

The tea is random kinds mint that I got Young's Plant World Ltd (ginger mint, apple mint, spearmint) and lemon balm, fresh thyme, green tea and local taw honey from Reeds' Bees
