📢Attention📢
Although intentions were good,our Vet Hospital isn't a shelter therefore taking pets that are dropped off isn't always easy. Luckily for a bunch of kittens and Momma that were left on our side door were able to be rescued. Our clinic is closed after 5pm on most days. Our maintenance worker noted a box on our side step and called one of our employees. Once our employee arrived, 4 kittens were located inside the box. Luckily for them this box was noticed or they would not have survived as we never use this door. Wednesday morning staff heard a cats cries outside. Mother cat had escaped from the box and was looking for her kittens that were now missing. Staff lured Mamma Cat with food and all were reunited. We will be looking for adoptions for these cats once they are all grown up and ready to go as they are still too young and feeding off Mom. Please dont leave any animals unattended in a box as consequences could be fatal. This outcome although is a good one could have turned into a bad one.

An intact male shih tzu was found around Charles St in Rexton. Dog is approximately 3-4 years old. Please call the clinic if you recognize him. Thank you.
