When you first came into this existence, your heart and mind were free.
You were just you.
A beautiful example of the unlimited potential of creation.
Imagination ready to experience. Now.
Then, someone taught you:
Who to hate. Who to love.
That you needed a religion, a language, borders, politics.
You learned views of math, science, art, music, culture.
And were taught to judge, separate. To divide in the name of unity.
What to be a part of, and who to be apart from.
You learned fear, sadness, gratitude, (mis)trust, joy, courage.
The battle for your imagination made it smaller.
.and the war continues, more than ever, for your free mind.
All the traumas you carry. The anxiety born from it. The medication you are told to take to control it.
Did someone also tell you it doesn't have to be that way?
You know that already though, in your heart and mind.
What could it be like if...?
What you believe you become and what you become is yours to decide.
Do you have a vision for the life you want to live? Dream.
Who do you want to be instead of the person you were told to be? Imagine.
