A question that I get quite a lot:
“Do you eat healthy?”
Yes, I do and I LOVE it
Do I take supplements? Yes, I do take supplements based on my body’s needs. Not a big fan of general Multi vitamins unless they have specific nutrients to target certain conditions 💁🏻‍♀️
Do I exercise? Yes, I do! In fact, I use any opportunity to move, like shoveling the snow that most people hate ❄️
Do I drink alcohol? No, because I don’t enjoy the feeling, it affects my overall health and I have so many delicious drink options that’s 100 times better for my health 🌞
Do I drink coffee? No, and if you need coffee to wake up or you get a headache if you miss it, then come see me. It’s not normal to feel that way! 🤕

Am I picky with my food??
Well NO 🤨
I have a bottle of water with me anywhere I go even to a restaurant! I’m not interested in water high in fluoride, Chlorine, chemicals! Is this called picky? Sure 😁
If I’m at a party, I only eat one type of food when there are 5 items at dinner table because I want to enjoy one taste and my stomach won’t go through hell digesting different foods. Is this called picky? Sure 😆
Do I eat meat? Yes, I eat clean meat! Picky? Ok 😃
Do I ask restaurant staff about their meat quality and where it came from? Hell yeah 🤨 picky? Whatever 😊
Do I read food labels? Yes!
Fun fact:
I always look at people’s shopping card at the grocery store and questions keep popping up in my brain… you don’t want to know those thoughts 😂
So, do you think I’m picky based on the fact that I love every food except Portobello mushrooms and Edamame beens! 🤢

It takes time to prepare simple food 😏
It’s up to us to choose a way of living:

𝐈𝐧 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐭, 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝:

⭐️Avoid eating Carbohydrates to start your day. Instead eat savoury breakast or basically leftovers from the night before.
⭐️Avoid drinking Coffee and instead drink herbal teas and mushrooms drinks
⭐️Have a bedtime routine and do not go bed later than 10:30
⭐️Try Chromium, Gymnema or Fenugreek sprouts to regulate blood sugar
⭐️Read ingredients and avoid SUGAR ☠️instead use Monk Fruit
⭐️Cut grains from diet
⭐️Increase protein, EFA’s and veggies

The first 2 weeks of cutting sugar will be challenging but after you will have hard time having it. Your body won’t handle it like before.

Why GUILT!?
Conscious eating will never put you in that situation.
I hear from so many people…
“Life is too short, why not enjoy some alcohol, sugar, junk,…”
“It’s once in a while…“
“Can I pick a cheat day?”
“Come on, having a shot of alcoholic drink won’t kill you”

The reality is eating real, simple and not processed foods make you feel so freaking good that you see no point to have fake food that give you temporary feeling of pleasure or happiness.

In fact, you should look into why you crave junk!
Something is definitely missing in your body. Check protein and fat intake, stress level, digestion, vitamin&Mineral deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, Sleep problems,…

One more thing:
That one friend that brings his water bottle to the restaurants, asks the server if their beef is grass-fed and doesn’t order desert.. Is not trying hard to avoid the saucy pasta, cola, margaritas and the chocolate mousse.
He eats way more delicious foods at home using real ingredients that helps him with energy and staying healthy.
Every time craving carb, sugar, salt or alcohol, ask yourself “What is missing in my body?“

The thought behind my recipe is… How to jam-pack a bite with nutrients? 🧐
Let’s just compare the nutritional value in a simple store-bought wheat cracker to a homemade seed cracker.

Many of the packaged foods like wheat crackers you'll find at the grocery store contain empty calories that come from hydrogenated fats, refined carbs and sugar.

𝐀𝐧𝐲 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐭.

On the other hands seeds are loaded with vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, protein and fibre which nourish your body, counts as a complete meal, cleanse the bowel, keeps blood sugar level stable, Regulate cholesterol level, strengthen bones and joints, increase muscle mass and …the list goes on and on and on.

Imagine how a simple change in Habit/Diet/Lifestyle can do to your health. Simply avoid buying crackers and instead make large batches of seed crackers to eat either as a snack or as a meal or as a bedtime snack for those with irregular blood sugar levels💁🏻‍♀️
There are tons of recipes on the internet. Just make sure to use raw seeds, don’t use high temperature to dry the cracker otherwise you ruin the good fats 🙅🏻‍♀️

400 ml of coconut yogurt costs around $15
The home-made one if you use high quality ingredients will be only $3
Coconut yogurt is a great alternative to dairy base yogurt.
So, here is the complicated recipe! Ready?
With a wooden stick/spoon Mix the coconut cream or heavy coconut milk (refrigerated to remove the solid top part) with content of a probiotics capsule.
Pour it in a clean sterilized mason jar. Cover with a cloth and secure it with an elastic. Leave the jar on top of the fridge for a day or two. Then remove the cloth, close the lid and leave it in the fridge for another week or so until it’s ready.
I like it more sour so I let the bacteria use coconut’s natural sugar.

Nasturtium plant is not only pest repellent but also their flowers and leaves are edible. The flowers are mildly fragrant and rich in antioxidants and other nutrients, including vitamin C 🤗

leaves can be also used on wounds to help fight infection being a strong antiseptic. The seeds can be ground to a paste and painted onto fungal infections of the toe nails. The pungent vapours released when eating nasturtium are also wonderful for bronchitis and other infections of the lungs.

No Bake Quick Fuel🚀🏋🏻‍♀️
Flatten Pitted Medjool Dates in between two parchment paper or wax paper by placing a heavy object on top like a heavy pot. Spread a nut butter of your choice, sprinkle dried fruits, chia seeds, shredded coconut or any topping you like. Either roll the date sheet or fold it in half. To make the surface less sticky, sprinkle shredded coconut, nuts, etc and press it down.
Leave the whole piece in the fridge for couple of hours and cut it into small pieces. Refrigerate or freeze them!

The healthiest diets would only work IF you exercise also.
One more thing,… Hang out with people who wants to do stuff and be active rather than sitting 💁🏻‍♀️
Ok, one last advice: Do not eat any food if you are emotionally in a bad place. Hydrate and then….Move! ✨😉

Googled it and realized it’s used raw🙅🏻‍♀️
Since I can’t wrap my head around the idea of eating raw meat including raw seafood, I decided to cook this thing🤷‍♀️
By the way there are parasites in raw meat even if it’s treated,..so no thank you 🪱
I learned that Arctic Surf Clams cook in 0.2 second! You leave it for 0.3 second and they turn into a piece of rubber 🤦🏻‍♀️
Other than that, lovely source of protein, Omega 3, Iron, Vitamin D, Selenium and Niacin. 💪🏻
And a bonus point: they are cheap
