No wonder so many patients on antidepressants don’t feel that much better. Depression is complex and everyone has their own unique underlying cause.
Treating the person will result in way better outcomes than treating the ‘disease’.

Scientists are questioning the theory that depression is caused by low serotonin. In a new review, researchers found little to no connection between the two.

GF DF yummy cookies 🍪



½ cup melted (and cooled) butter, ghee, or coconut oil
½ cup coconut sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups almond flour
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 400F/200C, and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, coconut sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, until smooth.

Add the almond flour, salt, and baking soda to the bowl, then stir to combine. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Using a medium cookie scoop (1 ½ tablespoons) dollop 18 cookies on the baking sheet. Use your fingers to flatten the dough into cookie shape, as the cookies will not flatten much on their own while baking.


Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are slightly golden on the edges.

Teething Sucks!

It breaks my ❤️ to see this little guy in pain! He has been teething since 2 months! 🤦‍♀️

We recently tried frozen washcloths. Make a knot at the end of the washcloth and dip it into concentrated chamomile tea (nervine, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial) and freeze.
He seems to take to it 👍, although this pic may portray otherwise. Lol
