Meet Sonja Dojcinovic, the recipient of the ReSound Canada Champion of Technology Student Award!

Sonja truly stands out for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and curiosity. She consistently steps up to support others and has a genuine interest in understanding how technology works; then turning that knowledge into meaningful benefits for patients. Her ability to dive into the “why” behind technology and apply it in patient care, academic projects, and peer support makes her a joy to watch and a future clinician to cheer for.

Sonja received her award from Karyne Steele, Head of ReSound Canada, in recognition of her strong interest in technology and innovation, and her ability to apply these tools in a clinical setting to improve the lives of people with hearing loss.

The winner of this award is selected by Conestoga College based on student performance and real-world application. ReSound Canada has proudly sponsored it since 2019.
